Hi Joalpe. Thank you for this detailed report and all your work on the project! It sounds like overall the two editathons were a success! It's exciting to read that there has been a good retention rate and you've put effort into staying connected with participants. Including professors in the editathons was a smart way to ensure you had experts in the field to provide guidance to the participants. We agree that allocating some time for informal socializing and getting to know each other is a good way to build community. We're sorry we did not follow through with the merchandise request.
