Hello Chinmayee Mishra thank you for putting this report together. It was great to see you had met and exceeded the target outcome. I am including a couple of follow up questions for you to consider:
- How would you work to increase the number of editors in the future? Why do you think this didn’t work so well for this event?
- Given the success of this event do you plan to make this a recurring editathon?
I have accepted your final report and expense documentation. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 16:50, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
Thank you so much WJifar (WMF) for reviewing and accepting the report. I am happy to see your positive response too. Here are some key-points that I want to mention in the answer to your question.
- The initial focus of this event was to spread good knowledge and improve skills of the existing contributors as a good awareness of Odia Wikisource. For the future events we can always spread the words more widely and specifically encourage new-comers to join. Though we have shared the news among all this time and tried to encourage new editors to join but hadn’t had many newcomers at the event place.
- Yes, The feedback is good regarding this event from all the participants. If community agrees then I will be happy to conduct further editathons. --Chinmayee Mishra (talk) 19:10, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
