Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Australian Strategy Survey
Hi JarrahTree, thank you for submitting this proposal. We understand that in addition to the strategy survey you will be traveling to meet with partners, active contributors, formerly active contributors and GLAM communities as part of the movement strategy process. When you have completed this project, please include a link to the report that you have contributed to the movement strategy process. We would also like you to share your findings with the WM AU community and in the report, comment on the ways that the community plans to use the information in their projects and activities for the coming year. We look forward to reading your report and learning from your experience. --KHarold (WMF) (talk) 16:41, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for your response, much appreciated. We have already had the very important component of 2x WMF employees in Australia in a short time - a signficant first opportunity for the Australian community since the commencement of Wikimedia Australia.
We were able to have a meetup April in [1]Perth linked with [2] Leila being in Perth for a conference.
And in May we had Katherine in [3] Melbourne for Melbourne Knowledge Week, as well as [4]meetup 33
Both of these visits provided excellent grounding in understanding aspects of the Strategy program. :JarrahTree (talk) 12:52, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
