Dear Sandiooses,

Thank you for putting together this Rapid Grant submission! We appreciate the straightforwardness of this request, along with the endorsements and volunteer requests that have been made on this page organize this event. Before we move forward with a decision, could you say more about how Wikimedia Ghana User Group plans to engage with participants after this event? We would also like to suggest a longer duration for this editathon (at least four hours), to allow new users enough time to learn editing basics as well as to practice these new skills with on-site guidance. Looking forward to your responses, and thank you again! Morgan Jue (WMF) (talk) 20:02, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Morgan Jue (WMF), the duration has been set to 4 hours. I will report back on how that went. I have also written more on engagement. Sandiooses (talk) 13:34, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, Sandiooses for providing more clarity on these points! I'll defer to Delphine (WMF) for any further questions she might have before making a decision. Best, Morgan Jue (WMF) (talk) 17:11, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hello Sandiooses, we are happy to confirm that this grant has been funded. We are looking forward to seeing how this went and what kind of articles have been produced. As discussed previously, you will use the funds remaining from your former project. Since this event is happening tomorrow, there will be not time to send additional funds, we will reimburse you the difference is there is one on presentation of the receipts for this event. Thanks for your patience and have fun editing! Delphine (WMF) (talk) 09:15, 17 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
