Note on grant funding amount

In your award letter/email, you may observe that the USD equivalent may be different from that floating exchange rate on Oanda. This is because (at the moment) we apply a pre-determined exchange rate for each grant as determined by the WMF Finance team. That said, I've published on meta the approved amount in your local currency and we can use that as a common reference point.

We know even the best thought through plans may change.

In the event that there are changes to your implementation schedule, you can reach out to request for a grant extension (i.e. extend end date). Similarly, if there is a surplus budget or changes to your planned budget, you can reach out to me about reallocation (via email and on this talkpage). Disbursement of Funds

To facilitate the funds disbursement process, we seek your prompt response on Fluxx and via emails with the WMF Grants Administrator team (grantsadmin@wikimedia.org). When in doubt, proactively reach out to the WMF Grants Administration team and copy your programme officer.

Update on funds transfer

Hello @Gnoeee,

This is a follow-up from our email conversation.

We noted that you were in touch with the WMF Grants Administration team to clarify the amount that was wired to you. The total funds that you received is INR 297,216.6 which includes fiscal sponsor fee. Although this was not the intention as per our earlier discussion; for the purpose of this project, we will have to proceed with you as the sole recipient of the funds.

In our conversation, you have also requested to allocate an additional INR 16,000 based on the breakdown below. See table for more details. This has been approved and brings the total allocated funds to INR 264,000 (see proposed budget and top-up). The remaining funds - INR 32,916.6 has not been allocated for now. And you can include this as well in your final report for documentation purposes.

If there are any further changes to the above allocation, please feel free to get in touch. At the end of the grant, there is also the option to have the unspent funds deducted against a future grant. More details here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Return_unused_funds_to_WMF

Reallocation request - APPROVED

Hello @JChen (WMF),

This is a request for allocating some funds from the remianing funds (INR 32,916.6).

• Amount of unspent funds for reallocation:INR 22000
• Proposed activities to be conducted/ time frame.

Planning to organize a 5 week long online data-thon from Oct 13 - Nov 16 (5 week) with the collabration with nearly 5 communities/UG. Each communities/UG will take lead on each week for organising the activity.

Onsite birthday celebration by the communities. The communities who are participating in the online data-thon and not having any grant running for organsing WD birthday celebration and who wishes to organize a 1 day onsite activity can request and can allot them a maximum ₹2,500 for organsing the activity.

Proposed activities to be conducted/ time frame:
