Grants talk:PEG/User:Aliceba/Empowering Afrodescendant women in Wikipedia/Report

Hi Aliceba and Shanluan. Thank you for this grant report and apologies for the long delay in officially closing out the report. We read the report when it was finalized in December and integrated outcomes and learnings into the Gender Gap Inspire Campaign report. Thank you for all your work on this project -- I'm sure it seems like such a long time ago considering the momentum your group has gained and all of the activities you've completed since then! We have a few comments on the report below:

  1. It's great to hear that targeting partnerships with groups led by women ensured at least 50% of women attended your 2015 editathons and the project was able to generate a very significant amount of content about women.
  2. It sounds like working with Profession Lamour was a wonderful outcome of the project. The results of her education program are very impressive! Has she continued to engage with AfroCROWD?
  3. We're sorry to hear that the numbers generated by the magic button do not seem to be reliable. Has the metrics assistant been able to go over these numbers? If yes, please do update the report.

Thanks again for all your work! Best, Alex Wang (WMF) (talk) 20:46, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

There was an overspend of $402.66 in this grant that I would like to use as an offset to the underspend of $688.59 for the other AfroCrowd PEG grant for 2015: Grants:PEG/Aliceba/Outreach to Afrodescendant community in US/Report - Becksguy (talk) 12:52, 28 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
