Thank you for this detailed grant report and for all your efforts in organizing a successful event! The event seemed very well organized, participation was high, and your outcomes in terms of content created is very impressive. We have a few follow-up questions below and look forward to your responses.

  1. There was great turnout for both days of the event. Was there one channel of recruitment that seemed to bring in the most people (Renegade Runners Facebook page?) or was it a combination of all of them? What were the different channels?

Answer: I think that the Renegade Runners channel was a key recruitment channel. National press also spread the word. And finally there were quite a lot of students from the university who learned about the event through posters and email invitations at Uni.

  1. It's very impressive that 63 articles were created or improved on those two days! It is especially impressive given that a lot of the editors were new. How was the team able to facilitate this? How many experienced Wikimedians did you have at the event to support new editors? Was it challenging to engage them?

People were very motivated to write. My guess is that a lot of people were already used to writing (a lot of students and media people). We had 7 wikimedians in total i believe. It was not challenging engaging them.

  1. What type of follow-up, if any, has been done since the event? Were people added to a mailing list, social media group, or online mentorship set up for new editors? The budget report mentions follow-up activities in May and June. Did these events happen?

We arranged with the Danish Wikimedia group to coordinate efforts in follow-up activities (in particular seeing that they were the experienced ones) and encouraged people to sign up for the Danish group and attend their weekly activities. The Danish Wikimedia group appreciated this as they were seeking to recruit more people. These activities did not, however, have a specific gender focus.

  1. Would be great if the Facebook photos could be added to the category on Commons.

We will see if we can work this out ;)

  1. The budget report seems to be for the full project expenses (23,319.47 DKK), not just the PEG portion that was funded in the original grant request. Please confirm.

If what you are asking us if we spent more money than what we got from you then confirmed. The rest was funded by Danish grass roots organizations.
