Grants talk:PEG/Kruusamägi/Minority Translate, phase II/Report
Hi Kruusamägi. We apologize for the long long delay in commenting on your report. We appreciate the time it takes to report and the lessons we can share with others. Unfortunately, we've had a quite a backlog of reports and hope to catch up soon!
Congrats on completing all of the improvements to the tool that you originally outlined. It looks like there has been substantial work done to increase it's functionality and usability. We appreciate efforts you've done to promote the tool and solicit feedback from users. We recognize that the challenge remains in convincing people to try the tool. Have you done much promotion work since you submitted the report in October? Are you seeing an increase in users? We'll also think about other ways to promote the tool throughout our networks.
Thank you again for your work. Best, Alex Wang (WMF) (talk) 04:11, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- It was introduced on Second International Workshop on Computational Linguistics for Uralic Languages in January
- As can be seen from the statistics page, then there has been some usage after that period.
- From the application homepage (that was reworked in January) we may see, that it has been visited for 12.5 k times so far.
- There are also some videos up (no 1 no 2)
- We likely need more personal approach to find possible users.
