• Congratulations on getting the alpha version of the site up. As you dig into UI polish in the next phase, I encourage you to partner with Jonathan Morgan since that’s his specialty. Ideally, you’ll want to think through possible use cases and communicate with potential end users so you can get feedback on the UI as part of your polishing. If it’s useful, I’d also be happy to give feedback from a layperson’s perspective about where the confusing spots are as I encounter the data.
• Thanks for sharing your workflow on Github. It’s helpful to see some of the nuts and bolts of your process. It’s useful that you also linked that work to an endorsement on the “Git repository for software” learning pattern.
• As I look over your measures of success, I’m especially curious to know how you’re thinking about the data re-use cases. What is your plan for this more qualitative piece of your project? Understanding now just the “how many” aspect but also the “how” may take time, so you’ll want to be starting those conversations as soon as you can.
• Let me know if you want help thinking about how to socialize your project to end users. We want all your work in this project to find its way to the right audience!
• Kudos for adapting and improving upon your team management system. It sounds like it was a good move to transition from the more laissez-faire approach to a more structured communication and reporting style. Thanks for sharing about that in your report.

Evaluation note

Hi! From what I can remember from WIkimania, the best metrics for the final report would be new, existing users, and a learning question, which can all be captured through a survey on the website. User:Maximilianklein, was your team still thinking about doing such a survey? If so, please feel free to send me a draft to me when you are ready; surveys can be tricky and I'd be happy to review it for you. I would suggest that the survey be prepared before any public announcement so you can get maximum responses; the survey can be super short.

Also, the survey in the report looks great. Always good to ask users what they want before building something :)
