en:On 3-4 September, 2016 in Kyiv, Ukraine will be the 6th Wikiconference 2016 connected to Wikimedia Foundation projects and free knowledge. By propositions of active editors of Bashkir Wikipedia and Wikimedians of Bashkortostan User Group during wikimeetups it has been decided to propose and discuss candidates of volunteers to participate in different events. During the meetups on April 15, May 20 and July 16 it has been chosen representatives for Ukrainian Wikiconference. BashWiki volunteers plan to learn Wikimedia Ukraine experience of organization of international contest Wiki Loves Earth, founding funds for printing album by its results, to share experience in BashWiki and to make contacts with other chapters. Wikimedians of Bashkortostan User Group representatives are preparing several presentations about implemented and planned projects.

Киев, Украина, состоится Викиконференция 2016 - шестая конференция, посвященная проектам "Фонда Викимедиа" и свободным знаниям. на собраниях активных редакторов Башкирской Википедии и членов Wikimedians of Bashkortostan User Group было предложено обсуждать и выдвигать кандидатуры волонтеров для участия в разных мероприятиях. На собраниях, состоявшихся 15 апреля, 20 мая, 16 июля текущего года, были избраны представители в состав делегации для участия на Украинской Викиконференции. Волонтеры-редакторы БашВики во время мероприятия планируют изучить опыт Викимедиа Украины по организации международного конкурса “Вики любит Землю”, привлечения спонсоров для издания альбома по итогам, поделиться опытом работы БашВики, наладить контакты с другими разделами. Представители Wikimedians of Bashkortostan User Group готовят доклад (презентацию) о реализованных и планируемых проектах.

Goal and expected impact edit

en:As a result of participation: Conference participants will get acquinted with the experience of Bashkir volunteers community, implemented and planned projects, the activities of Women’s organizations in Bashkortostan in promoting Wikimedia projects. Direct acquaintance and communication with representatives of Wikipedia and Wikiprojects in different languages will allow to draw attention to Bashkir Wikipedia, to increase the number of articles about Bashkortostan in other languages of free encyclopedia, to increase the efficiency, and the receieved experience will let to enlarge the themes of the projects in Bashkir Wikipedia.

ru: В результате участия делегации в мероприятии участники конференции ознакомятся с опытом работы сообщества башкирских волонтеров, реализованными и планируемыми проектами, деятельностью женских общественных организаций в Башкортостане по пропаганде Викимедиа-проектов. Непосредственное знакомство и общение с представителями Википедий и википроектов на языках народов мира позволит привлечь внимание к башкирскому разделу Википедии, увеличить количество статей про Башкортостан на других языках свободной энциклопедии, повысить эффективность работы, приобретенный опыт позволит расширить тематику реализуемых проектов в башкирском разделе Википедии.

  • Travel (round trip airfare from Ufa to Kiev, along the route Ufa-Moscow-Minsk-Kiev and back): USD 410 х 3 persons = USD 1230

  • Accommodation: The cost of a 2-room for 3 nights = USD 194
  • Meals and incidental expenses USD 98 30 х 3 persons х 3 days = USD 270 882 (than 75% of the standard U.S. General Services Administration or U.S. Department of State rates (M & IE rates, which include local transportation) for Kiev
  • The tax on personal income - USD 259 350.55

Total: USD 1993 2696.55 including on the implementation of the project USD 1734 2346 , the tax on personal income — USD 259 350.55.

  • Any direct help with registration and booking flights/hotel would be appreciated, if possible.
  • Expenditure on food and local travel can be financed on the fact, if it is possible.
  • We authorize our budget holder Dina1965 to receive the funds granted under this travel application.
  • If we can receive the funds early, that will help us book cheaper travel and accommodation.
