Proposed participation edit
I organise school projects for adults the last 3 years. I have a submission called "Adult Learners from the Ionian Islands of Corfu and Kefalonia Share Cultural Heritage on Wikimedia Commons and Wiktionary" accepted in this informatics conference in joint work with Mina Theofilatou, where we will be speaking about our joint work on mixing cultural heritage with Wikipedia in adult education.
We, Mina and me, already had a submission in the same series of Conferences last year and this help our outreach further. See our last year's report.
The submission has already been approved and is included in the CIE 2015 program.
Goal and expected impact edit
We expect to raise awareness of use of Wiktionary and galleries on Commons in Education. CIE 2015 is a main event for informatics teachers. It's also a good opportunity to me with Mina Theofilatou for the first time in our lives to coordinate for further projects in the future.
This is our first work solely written in English and we expect, in addition, to raise awareness in international level.

- Registration: 40 EUR
- Participation fee: 20 EUR
- Incidentals (public transport): 30 EUR
- Accommodation: 0 EUR (I have a place to stay overnight)

I am writing to endorse this TPS grant application. As the program manager for Wikimedia Education Programs in Greece and surrounding regions, I work with User:Magioladitis and I am impressed with his efforts.
He has used Wikimedia projects as a teaching and learning tool and has participated in the Wikimedia Education Program since 2014. His pilot project last year was a tremendous success, and my team is very happy to see it continue this year.
He has collaborated with other educators and other Wikimedia Education Program Leaders in Corfu, in Greece, and in the wider CEE region.

This user's proposed session (itself a collaboration with another Wikimedian, User:Saintfevrier) has been accepted by the conference program committee. You can see it here on p.4 in English. It is the only session at this informatics in education conference which pertains to Wikimedia or adult education, and, as noted, it addresses both subjects.
User:Magioladitis and User:Saintfevrier have co-authored other academic papers about teaching adults with Wikimedia projects and have presented on this subject at other academic conferences. There is good momentum building around this topic in this field, and I believe it is best if that continues. Therefore, I endorse this TPS grant proposal.
