Hi, my name is Liridon, and I have been an active Wikimedian for the last eight years.

Recent weeks I have worked on collecting, cleaning and organizing data about cultural monuments of Albania. Most of monuments don't have an article in Wikipedia, or they are missing data (location, coordinates, category, type, dates). With all the data that we have and we are willing to create new articles, improve existing with updated data and illustrate them with photos we received during Wiki Love Monuments 2016 in Albania.

Goal and expected impact

• I hope that participants in Edit-a-thon understand the importance of the monument, and why encyclopedia needs them.
• I expect more than 100 articles to be updated/illustrated
• I expect that more than 50 new items to be created

Budget breakdown

• Travel (round trip from Struga to Tirana): EUR 15
• Accommodation: EUR 18 per night x 2 nights = EUR 36
• Food, local transport and incidental expenses: EUR 25

I have been working with Liridon about Wikipedia Albania and Wikidata, he is such an active contributor and is always a pleasure to collaborate with him. Would be very useful to have him here during WWT since he has good knowledge about Wikipedia and technical stuff. • I met Liridon three times in person and I'm working with him on several projects. As far as I can see, he is the most active, most productive and most important editor (and administrator) of the Albanian Wikipedia. It would be a shame if he couldn't join this event. Besides workshops and edit-a-thons, I think his presence is also needed for planning sessions for upcoming activities within the Albanian Wikipedia and for making profit of his big knowledge about Wikipedia.
