editWe, Ahmed Mohi El din and May Hachem93, are active Wikipedians with high expertise in Wikipedia Education Program, We are co-founders of the Egyptian user group.We are going to establish Wikipedia education program in the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with department of economic development in Ras Al Khaimah, this program will be under the auspices of ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and they will cover all the expenses of the workshops and advertising. As Wikipedia Education Program in Egypt is an example of a program in the Arab World and the world we will give our best to make this program one of the best Education program in Arab world.
Goal and expected impact
editAs a result of our activity new Wikipedia education program will establish in new place. More than 7 workshops will be held from 20ː25 person will attend the workshop that's mean we are talking about 150ː175 new editor will join Wikipedia. More people will be introduced to Wikimedia foundation projects and more programs will start in new places. This will be a great chance because the government of Ras Al Khima will announce about the project in the media to attract more contributors. Consequently, contributions in Arabic Wikipedia will increase the gender gap in participation percentages will decrease.
