Wikimedia UG Nigeria/ Monthly Meetup April- Sept. 2018
Wikimedia User Group Nigeria had been actively involved in several projects in the last few years and our monthly meetup have been exceedingly useful. The meetups serves as focal point for training new members, and engaging existing members of the community. We also share ideas about new and ongoing projects. We are currently working on Wiki Loves Women Radio Program, a weekly radio program with over 5 million listeners. We have been contacted multiple listeners, largely women who are eager to learn about Wikipedia so that they can contribute. We plan to use our meetup for various training. We request a reasonable funding support for meetups for the next six months
