B.Korlah/WikiFestival
This is an onsite project where every participant will be taught how to create and improve the content on Festivals in Nigeria on Wikipedia. There is a substantial lack of content in the Festival area in Nigeria as there are a lot of notable festivals that deserve a stand-alone article on Wikipedia. Few other experienced Wikimedians and I will use the project to introduce Wikipedia to existing Wikimedia editors and new editors using the knowledge we have acquired in the past few years.

Festivals are an expressive way to celebrate glorious or sorrowful heritage, culture, and traditions. They are meant to celebrate or commemorate special moments and emotions in the lives of people. Different tribe in Nigeria have different festivals peculiar to them, its coverage on Wikipedia is limited to stubs, many uncovered and many others lacking contents to tell the story or enrich the experience of the reader or seekers of such knowledge

WikiFestival Nigeria (#WikiFestivalNG) will help bridge the Festival gap that exists on Wikipedia with a focus on Nigerian-related content, this event will bring together different Nigerians from different tribes and cultures writing and improving content on notable festivals.
