  • If applicable, what benefits have you seen from doing this kind of meeting in the past?
  • How will you let participants know about the meeting?
The New England Wikimedians User Group has a presence on Facebook and Twitter, as well as a mailing list of Boston Wikimedians. We will use our social media, targeted Facebook advertising, mailing list, and contacts to promote both the user group, and our individual events.
During last Wicnic, the community decided to host series of monthly meet-ups.
  • How will you keep participants engaged after the meeting is over?
We be hosting theme based Editathons and participants will be engaged through on-wiki and off-wiki activities.
