About me

I joined Wikipedia movement in 2010 and I primarily focus on offline outreach events and activities. My primary interest - making sure knowledge is freely available irrespective of technology or language barrier. I have curated 50+ TEDx events in underprivileged communities and conducted 100+ Wikipedia offline workshops in local languages to promote Wikipedia.

My work

I am leading several Wikipedia projects including Wikipedia SWASTHA. SWASTHA is a special project to promote healthcare awareness amongst local communities with the help of existing healthcare affiliates. The goal is to present health information in Wikipedia on 10 topics in 10 languages of India.
I am also member of Wikimedia Foundation's election committee. The Wikimedia Foundation elections committee oversees, on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation and the Wikimedia community, elections to the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees or Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) by the community.
