Goals

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
- Yes we meet all of our goals that we mentioned in our grant proposal. We have successfully organized an online Edit-a-thon, Maithili Wikipedia 3rd Anniversary event and a Meetup with our community members.

Obviously, we are happy doing this project and it is more needed for our community point of view. We were stuck after WLE 2017 due to local elections. The project went very smooth because we cover all the inactive wikipedians in the Edit-a-thon and Anniversary event.

Activities

Maithili Wikipedia Sampadanthan

Maithili Wikipedia Sampadanthan, an online Edit-a-thon competition organized by Maithili Wikimedians in Maithili Wikipedia on the occasion of Maithili Wikipedia 3rd Birthday. The Edit-a-thon which starts on 1st of November and ends on 7th November, shows solid impact on Maithili Wikipedia. During the Edit-a-thon competition 82 new articles were created. 16 Maithili Wikipedians takes part to success the event.

Maithili Wikipedia 3rd Anniversary

Maithili Wikipedia completed it's third year on 7 November 2017. To celebrate the event, Maithili Wikimedians team members have organized an event to facilitate the winners of Maithili Wikipedia Sampadanthan and the anniversary celebration.
