6. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

Borno State is a Kanuri People state, but due to the continued dominance of the Hausa language in West Africa, Hausa has become the second official language of the Kanuri community. Almost every Kanuri speaks Hausa. We decided to start a project at UNIMAID because Hausa is being taught at the University and to start promoting Wikipedia for Students and Lecturers.
