1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?

We will have training sessions and editathons simultaneously.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

Awareness will be created about this project by making an announcement of it on the Dagbani wikimedians mailing lists and our various social media channels.

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

Participants will be contacted the via the community's WhatsApp group and Telegram group.

4. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event? Please provide links to the usernames of these individuals.

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

Yes, most of the participants have smart phones and few have laptop computers. They also have the skills to contribute to this project though training sessions will be conducted to refresh the skills of existing volunteers and also equip the new editors with the requisite skills.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

Participants will be guided and encouraged to create more Lexemes via our social media channels(WhatsApp and Telegram)

8. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

one of the 5 Seed languages for the rollout of Abstract Wikipedia in 2024, We want to improve the lexicographic extension of Wikidata for Dagbani by creating at least 500+ Wikidata Lexemes in Dagbani.

In addition to creating Lexemes to support the Abstract Wikipedia and Wikifunctions project, the Dagbani Wikimedia community is also required to add language labels and descriptions to Wikidata properties.

User:Zak Raha will be in charge of logistics.
User:Alhassan Mohammed Awal will be in charge of communication and event promotion
User:Dnshitobu will be responsible training/facilitation
User:MusahFm will support in training sessions
User:Shahadusadik will manage the entire project
User:Din-nani1 will manage grant funds.
