Other (please specify) The Challenge is similar to the Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos, but specifically emphasizes capturing natural images in Vietnam. This includes landscapes, national parks, conservation areas, geographical features, and various biological species. Interestingly, it diverges from addressing the absence of photos within articles, allowing participants greater flexibility to capture and contribute images of their choice related to nature. According to Vietnam FOP law, which has effect from 1 January 2023, we DO NOT take photos of plastic arts, architecture, interior works, displayed at public places.

6. What is the change you are trying to bring? What are the main challenges or problems you are trying to solve? Describe this change or challenges, as well as main approaches to achieve it. (required)

We want to fill in the gap of missing many important photos in Wikipedia articles related to Vietnam.

7. What are the planned activities? (required) Please provide a list of main activities. You can also add a link to the public page for your project where details about your project can be found. Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

Travel to the photo venues, including botanic gardens, national parks, etc. Take photos of biological species (plants, animals, insects), landscapes, etc. Label photos and upload to Wiki Commons. Discuss and choose the best pictures.

We are waiting for members to confirm that they will join the project. Basically, we must find 5 members, and I (Alphama) will be responsible for assigning their work and monitoring the Challenge.

The Challenge is open to all Vietnamese Wikipedians who love photos. Our group will send invitations to Vietnamese Wikimedia projects, emails to potential individuals (by their contributions in Wiki Commons), and FB groups.
