These above listed professional courses are related to Mediawiki. This edit-a-thon will implement potential impacts to the staffs of Kad ICT Hub and we are looking forward to have a mediawiki community in Kad ICT Hub.
we aim to recruit new contributors and increase awareness about wikipedia to the school who usually are unaware about contributing to open source free encyclopedia specially in mediawiki. We will encourage new recruits to register themselves that they will be connected always. A test contest will be organise after the events, we aim to keep hold of new users while it will create a feeling of togetherness in the field of development. E are going to organize online trainings to explain more about Mediawiki which will give the participants room for more questions at their conveniences. At the end small prizes will be given to winners e.g Customized T-shirt, customized Cap, voucher, stickers.

I will be developing and delivering two physical trainings and will be carried out as follows:
- Awareness Drive: This is necessary to stimulate Wikimedia projects among Kad ICT Hub. Various stakeholders and department will be visited within the schools. Posters and flyers will be utilized for far reaching promotion and recruitment among the staffs.
- Training: After the awareness drive and recruitment of the staffs of Kad ICT Hub, training sessions will be physical to ground the prospective participant in basics and advanced contribution activities to Wikimedia projects especially Mediawiki. The trainings days will be as follow:
- Day 1: This will entail "how to navigate Wikipedia space and safety tips". Prospective participants will be guided to creating Wikipedia account, confirming their account, registering on the dashboard and signing up on the project page. Furthermore, they will be exposed to basic editing activities (Wikidata, Commons and Mediawiki).
- Day 2: This serves as the hands-on practical session, the participants will be taught how to edit wikidata, upload media/images and Install mediawiki app on their computers
- As i stated above, there will be an online training workshop at the participants convince and it will be an advantage to share more light on mediawiki.
- Certificate of participation and awards will be provided to the top contributors. And will also be closing session of the physical trainings and certificates of participation will be given to participants and branded souvenir for top contributors

The target participants are the staffs of Kad ICT Hub Kaduna. We will engage the participants before the event by promoting a general awareness using flyers sharing, notice board and school social media handles. After the events, we will create social media groups for help and support purpose. we will follow up the participants by engaging them in to massive contribution to wikipedia especially mediawiki because all of the participants are software developers and computer engineers.
