Audience
editWho are the people you want to introduce Wikipedia to?
editTry to be as specific as possible about this group.
Friends and young people
In what languages do they search for information, online or otherwise?
editEnglish
In what ways does this group communicate with each other?
editThis can include services and apps in social media, mailing lists, physical spaces like conferences or lectures, or at specific institutions like at a library.
Physical meetups and workshops on how participants can join the community. Of course, social media is a veritable tool in driving the campaign.
What are some reasons this group would use Wikipedia? How would they benefit from it, or what would they find useful?
editThink about what they would be interested in reading and learning about; does Wikipedia provide better access to information this group cares about?
Wikipedia will be of immense benefit for educational and social purposes.
Project idea
editWhat language Wikipedia projects will you promote to new readers?
editGbagyi, Hausa and English
How will you communicate with new readers? Will you be communicating with them online, in-person, or both?
editOnline and in-person
Describe your idea to engage new readers. How might it be implemented? What will you tell people about Wikipedia?
editThink about the steps that might involved to make this idea happen, and what you might teach people about your experience or others' experiences using Wikipedia.
The educational value of Wikipedia will be topical in attracting my target audience.
How will you know if this project is successful? What are some outcomes that you can share after the project is completed?
editIf you’re not certain about how to respond to this question when starting your idea, you do not need to answer it right now. Campaign participants and Wikimedia Foundation staff can help you consider some options.
Social media will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign.
Do you think you can implement this idea? What support do you need?
editDo you need people with specific skills or resources to complete this idea? Are there any financial needs for this project? Do you need advising from Wikimedia Foundation staff?
I will be glad if I can get advise from Wikipedia and funding to get T-shirts and exercise books printed in Wikipedia theme colors.

Project plan
editActivities
editOrganize meetups in schools and universities where the benefit of participating social causes will be discussed. The benefit of Wikipedia to mankind will be highlighted during such meets. Participants will be encouraged to form Wikipedia clubs to drive campaign to create awareness among their pairs. So far no community have been informed but Kaduna Polytechnic management in Kaduna will be contacted to seek their consent. Distribution of T-shirts and other souvenir will be carried out at the end.
Impact
editSuccess of the project will be evaluated through number of registered members in clubs, number of members making contributions to Wikipedia and sharing of success stories in social media platforms.
Resources
editI do not have any source of funding or support for now. My greatest resource is the passion of my team and their willingness to volunteer.
