editB1mbo, what should the banner text be? Also, are the communities of the major wikis where it is to run aware of the intended campaign? Could you drop a few lines in respective Village Pumps if not, please? --Base (talk) 00:02, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- For Spanish, it should be:
y ayúdanos a crear y mejorar artículos sobre Medio Oriente en Wikipedia.
- I'm asking the representatives of the other projects for the translation to their languages. Also, we expect to publish on the respective Village Pumps in the following days (today in Spanish Wikipedia at least). --Osmar Valdebenito, B1mbo (talk) 14:10, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, do that, I would appreciate having the communities notified. Thanks for the text, I've created the banner using the standard design: [1] — does it look OK? You can add text in other languages here. It would also be nice for the landing page to be translated to the respective languages by the time this campaign starts. --Base (talk) 14:58, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- For Farsi it would be :
تا ۲۴ آبان در مسابقه ویرایشی پلی میان فرهنگها شرکت کنید
- .و به ویکیپدیا در بهبود و ایجاد مقالات مربوط به آمریکای جنوبی یاری برسانید
- For Arabic, it would be:
المشاركة في مسابقة "جسور عابرة للثقافات" حتى 15 تشرين الثاني\نوفمبر
تهدف لإنشاء وتحسين مقالات أمريكا اللاتينية في ويكيبيديا العربية

- Mardetanha, could you fix it here, please? It must be in HTML (so for bold and
for new line). RTL kills me. --Base (talk) 15:23, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- Base, It must be fixed now. -- Meisam (talk) 16:26, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- I've included Turkish, just waiting for Arabic and Portuguese. --Osmar Valdebenito, B1mbo (talk) 16:27, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

B1mbo, Mardetanha, Meisam, by the way, I recommended it for other CN request, but I see that for your format it is a good suggestion too: perhaps you can use a module similar to what was used during CEE Spring article contest (the module itself) — it automatically shows in what participating languages the contest article exist basing on the Wikidata items (it should also be possible to pull their name) and thus relieves people of having to update those article lists manually all the time. --Base (talk) 16:55, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you Base! I didn't know about that module, I will check it out. Certainly it will help us a lot! --Osmar Valdebenito, B1mbo (talk) 20:04, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
Hi Base. All languages are translated and we are OK with the design. Is there anything else missing? --Osmar Valdebenito, B1mbo (talk) 18:39, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- OK, enabled, it should automatically go live at midnight UTC. If anything will be wrong or some communities angry please notify. I've set quite sparing impression diet though: the banner will be shown for 50% of the users, 5 times per every 48 hours. As it is a long campaign I do not want to have people to suffer it too much, hopefully this is still enough to have everyone learn about the contest. --Base (talk) 18:54, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks! Seems reasonable to me, we don't want to become spammers :) --Osmar Valdebenito, B1mbo (talk) 20:40, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
