Content generation workshops with Gene Bank

CIS-A2K conducted a series of events with Maharashtra Gene Bank project team to explain the benefits of contributing to Wikimedia platform. A of total eight members from various organisations attended the sessions. The basics of Wikipedia pillars and editing process were explained. The participants discussed manual of style, the nature of articles to be created and categorisation. The articles prepared in Google doc were presented by a few participants. These articles will be moved to sandboxes after curation. In the previous held on 29 December, basic rules of Wikimedia Commons and uploading process was explained. Series of Women Interviews

Festive Season 2020 edit-a-thon

CIS-A2K organised Festive Season 2020 edit-a-thon on 5 and 6 December 2020. This was the second event in the series of Mini edit-a-thons organised by CIS-A2K. The main moto for this event to enrich content on Wikimedia projects about Indian festivals.
