Atari Women Wiki Edit-a-thon
What?
editA two days edit-a-thon (including two-evening online workshop organized by the Computer Science Department of University of Copenhagen - DIKU), focused on introducing participants to Wikipedia editing. During this event, will be added new articles and improved existent articles based on Atari Women, a research project about pioneer women and gender minority engineers. Adding free license images of the biographies and Wikidata items is also welcomed.
When?
editTuesday 10th and 17th November 2020, all day, virtual edit-a-thon. Tuesdays 10th and 17th of November 2020 - from 17:00-20:00 - Zoom workshop (sign up here).

editThe Computer Science Department of the University of Copenhagen (DIKU) Virtual Wiki Edit-a-thon - part of DIKU’s research program FemTech - is part of a master’s thesis focused on diversity and gender equality on Wikipedia, focusing on facilitating inclusion in computing science.
