Wikivoyage/Wikivoyager
Wikivoyagers are members of a world-wide community of contributors to Wikivoyage. They are characterised by having a marked preference for travelling, censorious awareness and pleasure in sharing their insider information.
We distinguish between Wikivoyagers, who work as authors, and those who are additionally members of the Wikivoyage association. Members of the association help financing the project and guide it through discussions and votes.
We need your help to make this project successful. We still have a long way to go and everything you contribute will help us to get closer to our target of establishing a free and independent traveller's guide.
Some Wikivoyagers also volunteer at wikitravel.org, a project with similar goals. If you are not sure which one is best for you, try both and find out. Over time, you will find out which of the two you prefer.
