Wikipedia Weekend in Tirana 2015
Wikipedia Weekend is the main event of the Albanian speaking Wikipedia community located in Albania.
The event is organized by Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group in collaboration with Open Labs Hackerspace and other partners and organizations.
Wikipedia Weekend in Tirana was organized for the first time in November 2014 with participation from Wikipedians from Albania, Kosova and Serbia. The first edition of the event documented with photos can be found here (first day) and here (second day).
The goal of the event is to socialize with other Wikipedians from the region, inspire potential new Wikipedians, get introduced to Wikimedia projects, host-hands on edit-athons and raise awareness in the local media about the importance of knowledge sharing through wiki-related projects.

Goals edit
- recruit more Wikipedians of the Albanian language;
- collaboration of various Wiki projects between Wikipedians in the region;
- addition of content in the Albanian speaking Wikipedia;
- strengthen the sense of belonging and community culture among contributors
Registration Form edit
Participation in the event is free, but you need to register online to join the event. Please register using Eventbrite platform here. Note: Saturday will be full house and you can now only register for Sunday activities. Thank you all for your interest in Wikipedia Weekend in Tirana.
