This is an Impact report for the third quarter (Q3, July through September) on the 2022 APG grant to Shared Knowledge, with special consideration given to the 2022 Annual plan.

Description of activities and learning edit

All these projects and activities are part of the Shared Knowledge's Annual Plan. This section will describe how the activities progressed during the Third quarter.

Education & Science Program edit

1. Students Mentorship

Goals met by this activity

One new educational institution was included in this quarter. It was the Zdravko Cvetkovski High School which managed to coordinate and gather 40 students. A total of 44 people (including the school coordinator, and our three activists) were participants at the event and overall in the quarter. The accumulated participants in 2022's first three quarters is 85 people (80.9% progress, according to the projected 105 annual participants). New people in the quarter were 43, summing the overall of 83 people out of planned 100 and that's 83% progress. The number of made content pages remains 36 of projected 400 (9% achievement).

2. Wikidata Workshop

Goals met by this activity

A total of 10 people were part at the one time Wikidata workshop in this quarter, which is 45% achievement (planned 22 participants in the whole year). 5 people were new participants, of the planned 15, and that makes 33.3% progress. 11 Wikidata items were created with additional 3 improved and that makes 14 total content pages with progress of 3.5% (400 TCP planned).

3. WikiTranslate

Goals met by this activity

One event was made. In that event, 7 people participated. So, from January 1 to September 30, 11 people participated and that is 64.7% of the 17 planned. When it comes to new participants, we had 5 and that presents 60.6% success of the planned 15 new participants (9 new participants from Q1-Q3). The quota of the annual total content pages is 120, and our product is 10 TCP in Q3 which is total accumulated progress is 30 content pages (25%).

4. Edit-a-thons

Goals met by this activity

After no activity in Q2, the project continued in Q3. At the one edit-a-thon held in Kumanovo in August, a total of 13 people were part of the editing activity. During the Q1 to Q3, 15 people made the total participants number, which makes 26.7% progress according to the planned TP metric (56). 10 people were new at the edit-a-thon. That represents 25% progress of the first three quarters (12 new people of the planned 48). The predicted total content pages metric (TCP) is 288 and this quarter has realized 86, 106 in total in the first three quarters of 2022. This gets us to 36.8% progress.

5. Editing Competitions

Goals met by this activity

One competition was held this quarter and was the second 2022 edition (not counting the stand alone CEE Spring 2022 competition). It comprised of eight total participants, totaling 11 people so far in 2022 (36.6% success; 30 people projected). There were no new participants during the Q3 and the number stays 2 new participants (33%). It resulted with 608 content pages in Q3 which makes the total achieved TCP number of 908. That is percent success of 108% out of the projected 840 TCP.

6. Editing Days

Goals met by this activity

In this quarter, the project was participated by seven different users. By gathering the numbers in the all three quarters according to the TP metric, we got participation of 21 people and this metric progressed to 116%. There were no new participants in this quarter, just like Q2, and by the old outcome of the Q1 (3 people were new) is stays 100% achievement according to the NP metric. In this quarter, the participants contributed with 420 content pages, totaling 1568 TCP in the period of January to September and that makes 78.4% progress (planned 2,000 TCP).

7. Editing Weekends

Goals met by this activity

In the 13 editions we had, nine people participated in multiple occasions. The TP progress of the Q1 to Q3 is 16 out of the projected quota of the annual 11 people which is overachievement of 145%. The new people in Q3 were 2, and that makes up the total NP number of 3, from January to September. The projected NP metrics was 1, and this metric was overachieved by 300%. The covered TCP in Q3 was 314, totaling 984 TCP so far in 2022 out of the planned 1,500 (65.6% progress).

8. Photohunts

Goals met by this activity

There were 4 photohunts with 10 total participants in this quarter. The total amount of people throughout the year (January-September) is 12 which means 133% has been achieved according to the projections. When it comes to new participants numbers, the planned new participants is 3 whilst we have 7 new people in Q3, overall totaling nine people which means a success rate of 300%. The total planned annual content pages is 480, we have covered 894 content pages in Q3, which summed up so far is 1072 TCP which means a progress of 223%. Also, according to the planned 294 upload images throughout the year, the total 304 uploaded images from Q3 were used, which makes 138% progress (406 used January to September period).

9. WikiSketch Lessons

Goals met by this activity

The project in this quarter had 16 participants involved, totaling a number of 19 participants in the first three quarters. The progress in this TP metrics is 35% (54 participants needed). 14 of them were new, and adding the one new participant from Q3, that makes up 31.2% progress (48 new participants). The TCP metric resulted in 34 total content pages in Q3. The metrics totals 114 TCP in Q1 to Q3 (projected 204, 55,8% progress).

10. WikiTours

Goals met by this activity

The project was initiated in this quarter with one edition. 4 total participants (planned 30; 13.3% progress) and three new participants (planned 20; 15% progress). 57 total content pages were covered which makes 26.8% progress. The projected annual TCP metric is 212. The projected used images metric is 100 and 21 images were able to be used.

Goals met by this activity

One mini expedition of this kind was made. 2 participants were part of it. That totals of 5 five people from all three quarters of the year 2022 (6 are planned for the year, which is 83.3% progress). The projected NP metrics is 2 while the realized number stayed 1 participant (from Q2), so 50% progress is status quo. The realized TCP in Q3 is 24. Calculated with with the previous quarter's statistics the TCP is 145 (96.6% success). Note that the TCP dropped (154 TCP progress in Q2) due to usage of some Q2 images during the Q3 which bring lower metrics.

15. WikiVillage

Goals met by this activity

The project was concluded in Q3. 12 participants were involved in this quarter. During the Q1-Q3 period 14 people were part of it, so the overall TP progress in the nine months is 280% (5 people projected). There were nine new participants in Q3, summing it up to 10 new people (3 projected; 333% progress). TCP which were realized in this quarter are 21, totaling 123 and that is 51.2% (240 TCP projected).

16. MakSport

Goals met by this activity

MakSport was participated by 3 participants in the Q3. The end result of the total participants in H1+Q3 is 5. This is 16% of the total planned (30 participants). There was one new participant in this quarter and the progress in this metric progressed to 7% (2 new people in January to September; 28 projected). Content pages in this quarter were 12 and the H1+Q3 ended with 1176 TCP (332% success; 350 TCP projected).
