This is an Impact report for the second quarter (Q2, April through June) on the 2023 APG grant to Shared Knowledge, with special consideration given to the 2023 Annual plan.

Making videos of lectures and organizing individual editing engagements and group editing workshop. After revaluation in late August, the professor Ljakoska disapproved some videos due to lecturing errors of the students. Then, by a decision

of SK, all the students videos were disapproved. Only one video, lectured by the prof. Marija survided.

Description of activities and learning edit

All these projects and activities are part of the Shared Knowledge's Annual Plan. This section will describe how the activities progressed during the Second quarter.

Education & Science Program edit

1. Professors Mentorship

Goals met by this activity

According to our metrics this program for the entire year should have at least 15 total participants. Three participants got involved in this quarter. Thus, 20% of the total participants annual quota is achieved. There were no new participants among these three men. According to our total pages quota, in 2023 at least 40 pages in total should be covered. So far, 74 content pages were covered and that is 185% progress.

2. Students Mentorship

Goals met by this activity

One reccuring educational institution was included in this quarter. It was the Institute of Ethnology and Anthopology which managed to coordinate and gather students for the workshops. A total of 13 people (including the university professors, and our two activists) were participants at the event and overall in the quarter. The accumulated participants in 2023's first two quarters is 45 people (42.8% progress, according to the projected 105 annual participants). New people in the quarter were 4, summing the overall of 33 people out of planned 100 and that's 33% progress. The number of made content pages in Q2 in 19. Combined with the TCP metric of the Q1, the total number is 45 of projected 400 (11.2% achievement).

3. WikiLectures

Goals met by this activity

One filming session was made. In that event, 6 people participated (60% success, 10 planned). When it comes to new participants, we had 4 and that presents 50% success of the planned 8 new participants. The quota of the annual total content pages is 100, and our product is 17 TCP in Q2 (17% progress).

Community Program edit

4. Edit-a-thons

Goals met by this activity

According to our total participants quota, we should have 56 participants. We had 10 people participating which means the quota was covered with 17.8% in this project. There were 8 new people of the planned new 48 participants. This is a 16.6% progress. In this quarter there were 25 content pages covered in total, out of the 288 total planned content pages for the year (8.6%).

5. CEE Spring 2023

Goals met by this activity

This monthly competition was held in this quarter, according to the plan. It comprised of seven total participants (70% success) and it had no new participants according to the new participants metric (NP) which was 2. It resulted with 478 content pages which makes 170 percent success of the projected 280.

6. Editing Days

Goals met by this activity

The project was participated by seven different users in Q2. By gathering the data in the Q1 and Q2 according to the TP metric, we got participation of 10 Wikipedians and this metric has the progress of 55.5% (18 planned). There were three new participants in this quarter, and combined with the old outcome of the Q1 (0 people were new) is makes 100% achievement according to the NP metric. In this quarter, the participants contributed with 348 content pages, totaling 736 TCP in the period of January to June and making 36.8% progress (planned 2000 TCP).

7. Editing Weekends

Goals met by this activity

In the 13 editions we had, eleven people participated in multiple occasions. The TP progress in the H1 of 2023 is 14 out of the projected quota of the annual 11 people which is overachievement of 127%, realized even at midterm. The new people in Q2 (also in H1) were 0 out of the 1 planned. The covered TCP in Q2 was 268, totaling 590 TCP in H1 out of the planned 1,500 (39.3% progress).

8. Editing Weeks

Goals met by this activity

One edition held in this period. There were four total participants (planned 14; 28.5% progress) and zero new participants. 256 total content pages were covered which makes 45.7% progress. The projected annual TCP metric is 560.

9. Photohunts

Goals met by this activity

There was 1 photohunt with 3 total participants in this quarter of which the two direct participants were new ones. The total amount throughout the year is 9 and already we have 3 which means 33.3% has been achieved. When it comes to new participants numbers, the total planned new participants is 3 whilst we have 3 which means a coverage of 67%. The total planned annual content pages is 480, we have covered 190 content pages which means a progress of 39.5%.

Also, according to the planned 294 upload images in use throughout the year, 70 uploaded images were used, which makes 23,8%.

11. Wiki Loves Folklore 2023

Goals met by this activity

Two stand alone editing engagements were made, by two different people. According to the plan was we should have 20 participants. We had 25 people in H1 which means the quota was covered with 125% achievement in this project. The already achieved number of 11 new people stays the same (110% progress). In this quarter there were 2 content pages covered in total. That translates to 5,620 TCP in H1. Considering the 400 total planned content pages for the year (1405% overachievement).

Also, according to the planned 50 upload images in use throughout the year, 6 uploaded images were used, which makes 8,3%.

Partnerships Program edit

12. Botanic Garden Skopje

Goals met by this activity

This project in this quarter was initiated with making of a photo session and workshop in May with our collaborators from the Botanic Garden Division of the Institute of Biology. The participants number was 8 out of which 3 were new. The planned total participants is 10 which means 80% progress and regarding the new participants, the total planned is 6 which means 50%. 214 content pages were realised and that makes up 85.6% (250 content pages were planned annually).

13. MakSport

Goals met by this activity

In the second quarter, there were 3 participants. Summarized with the Q1 stats, there were 5 participants. The total planned annual participants which is 20 (25% progress). There were no new participants in Q2, but because of the 1 new participant in Q1, there is 5.5% success on the base of the total 18 planned new participants for the year. About the content pages, 56 content pages were covered in the second quarter. The whole TCP numbers in H1 are 90 out of the total annual planned content pages which were 800 which is 11.2%.
