- Welcoming Newcomers is a continuous process in working activities of any Wikimedia community and the system as a whole. It is true that, when a person as well as newcomer execute a minimum editing job in any of the websites of Wikimedia family, he or she welcomed in the talk pages of concerned site, and of course, this automatic system is very thankful and popular. But welcoming a newcomer in person on the special occasion, and when it is in the auspicious Twentieth Birthday of Wikipedia celebration, it will be more and more meaningful to a volunteer of the Wikipedia, who joined very recently! This welcoming address makes a person more enthusiastic, energetic and helpful to others. In the upcoming days, the newcomer will be the old and experienced one, and a day will come when he or she will introduce the new ones as the volunteers of Wikipedia. So welcoming newcomers is helpful to everybody.
