The Wikimedia Conference will take place at the newspaper publishing house Verlag Der Tagesspiegel. The venue is located between the hotel and the WMDE office, both just a 10 minutes walk away.

General Information

WMDE’s office and event space will serve as the location for dinner snacks on Thursday, Friday and Sunday evening. It is only a ten minutes walk from the conference venue and about 15 minutes from the hotel.

WMDE has made a special deal with the hotel Motel One Potsdamer Platz (formerly called Motel One Leipziger Platz), which is located next to the famous Potsdamer Platz. All rooms include Wifi and breakfast and have their own bathroom.

Check-in and check-out

For all conference participants the earliest arrival date is Thursday, April 21, latest departure date is Monday, April 25, 2016. Further rooms as of Tuesday, April 19, have been reserved for the participants of the pre-conference workshop. The check-in time starts at 3 p.m. and check-out is until 12 p.m.
