Wikimedia CEE Erasmus+ project

It is all about collaboration! edit

We have proven that it is useful and efficient to collaborate as it multiplies the effect of our efforts - this is what CEE collaboration is about. unfortunately we have not yet come up with a good education collaboration in Wikimedia CEE region and it seems that European Erasmus+ platform could be a good platform to get things going.

Involve educational institutions! edit

It is also not only doing something fun together as Wikipedians, but as much bringing the fun of Wikimedia to educational institutions throughout the region. This means that we have to enter their comfort zone with a familiar Erasmus+ project, which they understand.

Use authority of European Commission edit

Funding from European Commission also works well in persuasion efforts and makes Wikimedia projects more relevant on the field of higher education and make institutions more willing to go along with ~~crazy~~ inspired, but distant Wikimedians.
