Abstract (up to 100 words)

The goal of this session is to bring the regional communities of Wikimedia Central and Eastern Europe and African Wikimedians closer through mutual sharing of knowledge and experience on Community & Strategy. The one-hour long session will start with a brief introduction by the panelists in which they will explain the approach that both regional partnerships have with regards to topics related to Community & Strategy, and then it will follow with a Q&A round in which participants can learn more about the specifics of their approaches and activities.

How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe?

  • How do member communities collaborate with each other and what are some notable examples of mutual collaboration?
  • What are the prioritised strategic recommendations and initiatives for the regional community?
