| Abstract:
Impetuous growth in content creation during the last 2 years at Belarusian Wikisource has risen the competence of local Wikimedians tremendously. The 5-fold jump in the number of pages corresponded with the same-fold growth in readership. It presented an opportunity to widen the scope of input to other language editions of Wikisource as well as other Wikimedia projects. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
A small team of devoted volunteers at the beginners' level in local Wikisource projest can grow their understanding of wikitools rapidly (in 2 years period). Such success brings their expertise to other Wikimedia projects beyond Wikipedia, such as Wikimedia Commons. Challenges of multilingual & multiscript cultural heritage add the possibilities of contributing to other language editions of Wikisource later on. | |||
