Summary edit

The first 90-minute session will start with a 20-minute presentation of the results and organisation from the international point of view (presented by Natalia and Nikola), before some local organisers share their good and bad experiences from organising the local contests for 20 minutes. Thereafter Liam will present this year's Europeana Art History Challenge and Gereon will speak about An affordable and successful way to get new editors and to create new content: Single Subject Writing Weeks.

During the second 90-minute session we will do a 60-75-minute Lessons Learned session and discuss the questions raised on Talk:Wikimedia CEE Spring about next year's contest and Art History Challenge 2017 for ~30 minutes.

About Lessons Learned: The session will work through good and bad things that happened while organising CEE Spring 2016, in order to have postmortem documentation available when organising next year's competition. The format will most likely be that of "Lessons learned", which asks the participants to first mention things that didn't go so well (without getting personal, of course) and things that went well and should be repeated next year (also without getting personal, of course).

Expected outcomes edit

  • Future of the contests (CEE Spring and Europeana Art History Challenge)
  • Documentation for future contests similar to CEE Spring (and CEE Spring itself)

Duration (without Q&A) edit

90 minutes for the presentation and 90 minutes for a discussion.

Specific requirements edit

  • A room for a presentation for the presentation
  • A room with chairs in a the form of a circle for the discussion
