Wikiepic could be like a freeform mythology or fantasy world. The Neverending story. Articles would focus around Characters, Places, Events, etc. and are whatever your imagination can think of. A vampire kingdom? Rock people of the underworld? Go for it. I like to think that 50 years from now we could have a whole world made up by...us! a mythology that reflects modern society's values. Or maybe we would have a failed grand adventure. It won't create a story you can read from front to back. It will be a neverending story.

This is a proposal for a new Wikimedia sister project.

Someone wanting to write an article would simply think up a subject and start an article by that name. It may be a biography of a person or history of an object or realm.

Example:

Unicorn Island edit

Unicorn Island is located in the Diamond Sea, 10,000 leagues east of Karabala. The Island is inhabited by many fantastic creatures, the Unicorn chief among them. The island was once volcanic and long ago the heat of the volcano, before it died, filled the cone which rose high above the island with crystal. The ages wore away the rock until the crystal lay exposed in towering spires. The light of the sun and moon is captured and cast again far out to sea. Approaching the island during the day is dangerous because at many points the sun's light is focused. Captain Slurmansk lost his ship, The Viserian, in a great fire shortly after his discovery of the island in 8465.

...

So "Diamond Sea" would link to an article describing that as in standard wiki format. Anyone who thinks of something cool to write about Unicorn Island or Captain Slurmansk is free to do so. Where does Slurmansk come from? What about the other creatures on the island? Karbala?
