Multilingual education is a pillar of intergenerational learning is the official theme of the 2024 celebration of the International Mother Tongue Day. In this year's edition, the Wikitongues community in collaboration with the Wikimedia community is celebrating this global annual event with the sole purpose of ensuring a constant tread on the path of Intergenerational Learning which would aid in establishing and sustaining strong pillar of multilingual education. With the aim to sustain and promote all the languages in the world, this year's theme strongly resonates with the Wikitongues mantra ...To protect our collective wisdom, [and] support of mother-tongue education. Everyone is invited to participate to ensure the continuation of multilingual education which would help in erecting a strong pillar of learning.
