8 March: 10 March: Did you by the way know that there are only 54 Wikidata objects on women from Chad? Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 17:01, 10 March 2021 (UTC) 12 March 17 March 23 March More than two weeks into the challenge, 74 participants have joined, and an incredible amount of articles have been created or improved. All bonus point articles exist in 6 or more languages, which is an astonishing feat. Remember, if you translate articles, to check carefully that the language is proper and correct. The organization team might reduce the points if participants are found to systematically translate articles with poor or bad language (as is stated in the rules!). Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 09:25, 23 March 2021 (UTC) 27 March Great to see all the efforts, and new people and languages joining in! When will we reach 80 participants? If you want new ideas on who to write about, the organizers have now added some 35 women activists within sexual and reproductive health, an area which is quite poorly covered on Wikipedia. All women are covered in the UNFPA source "UNFPA Icons and Activists". You find the list of the women here! Who will write the first article about one of them? Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 09:12, 27 March 2021 (UTC) 6 April Time flies so fast. 2 more days to go – and the results are already astonishing! As some final encouragement, all editors who write an article on any of these sexual and reproductive health activists will receive a personal postcard. Keep up the good work – and good luck! Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 15:06, 6 April 2021 (UTC) 8 April Last few hours of WikiGap Challenge 2021! And a lot of activity. Best of luck!! Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 14:52, 8 April 2021 (UTC) 9 April Wow! What an accomplishment. The organizing team and partners are astonished. Well done! We'll take some time to analyze the results. Have a look at the results page in the upcoming weeks. Don't forget to nominate your own or others' articles in the "Best Competition" challenge! Add ({{nomin|your own username}}) after the article you want to nominate in the list. Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 08:06, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
