VRCommons
I envision VRCommons as a open source alternative to The Seed Online and VRoid Hub, a place for users to share free, open source avatars and perhaps improve each other's work, and as a place where experienced 3DCG artists can provide guides and documentation for novice artists. Like Wikimedia Commons, VRCommons can advance the transmission and preservation of art. Moreover, if Wikimedia builds open source software for sharing, curating, and indexing VRM files, then people outside of Wikimedia can use the software to build their own smaller, specialized sharing sites, similar to the many independent fandom wikis already out there.
