[Small wiki toolkits] Final feedback survey

Hello! You are receiving this message as you have attended a small wiki toolkit workshop this year. If you missed attending our last feedback session on the small wiki toolkits workshops, here is a short survey that you could fill out to let us know your technical learning needs and ideas and suggestions for improving the workshop format for the next year. If you attended the feedback session, you can still fill out the survey to share ideas that you couldn't do so more anonymously during our meeting last week. We look forward to learning from your suggestions and including them in the planning for next year. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeVhqgZYXQG8Fgw25xRS0n7eKMleOKy5i1tM5Ty3mGACtcTag/viewform. Congrats and Little feedback

Hi Yahya, First of all, Congratulations for the Global renamer.

Looking at your recent renames, I would like to give some feedback. 1. Don't suppress redirect unless it's a vanishing request or during usurpation (in this case checkbox is checked automatically). 2. Don't rename when user is blocked for more than just username violation. Such request should be deferred to their talk page (at least in case of enwiki) where admins who are renamers also, can deal with those.

General rule is, whenever you are in doubt or you are not able to understand the language, leave the request for other renamers so that someone from the project handle it.

Again, Congrats! See you around. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 11:52, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

I wiill keep in mind. Thanks for the feedback. —Yahya (talkcontribs.) 05:06, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

Vote checking

Hi! Just for knowledge, to check the votes you've to go here (and wait for the bot to post users to be checked) :P Thanks for your support, best regards Superpes15 (talk) 15:15, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

Didn't know that. Should I revert my edits? —Yahya (talkcontribs.) 15:20, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
Sorry I didn't saw this section when giving the same advice. No need for reverting your edits, the bot will override this anyway when marking checked votes Johannnes89 (talk) 15:22, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

Checking votes

Hi Yahya, please do not check votes on the election pages itself [1]. Vote checking is coordinated at Template:Stewards/Elections 2023/Voters/Check [2], checked votes will be marked by a bot (like this [3]) Johannnes89 (talk) 15:19, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
