Not exactly. I am a member of the community, and the community will need to be involved in any discussion regarding video on Wikimedia Foundation projects.
I would suggest you make your suggestions at the village pump, on an appropriate e-mail list, and/or contacting people who have been involved in other video-related discussions. You might consider checking out the commons site, where there is a small but growing number of theora videos hosted. - Amgine / talk meta 20:20, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I can now output my videos in Theora format, but then no one can play them back without installing a plug-in. The Java player should fix this, if it ever comes out, but I want to make sure it is broken in some way - making a streaming Java player over the Internet is quite tricky.
