Problems with UNIQ QINU

edit

Hi Socoljam. I have similar problems that was mentioned on http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/QINU_fix. You r one of the contributors there so I thought you could help me.

I am using MW 1.6.7. and tried to install some text processing extensions (that were written for earlier MW - 1.4.*) . The problem is that only the last extension used on a page is working. For example when I use couple of tags on a given website <mytag></mytag>. All but the last one appear with UNIQ mytag QINU. The last one is working.

I tried everything - checked this http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_extensions_FAQ#How_do_I_render_wikitext_in_my_extension.3F But even when I changed to solution dedicated to MW 1.6.7. all I got was that wiki wasn't displayed at all. In other words when I changed a wikipage and pressed the button "save page" all I got was a blank page - the content was not rendered. I tried to change Parser.php but it wasn't any better.

Could you instruct me what needs to be changed or redirect to someone who knows how to handle it? I would be v.grateful

Hi thank you for your answer. Could you explain me why I need to upgrade. Is there any kind of comparision of MW versions? I may want to change, but I'm not sure which version would suit me best. I would like to get rid of this weird tags.

Thx in advance
