Please reconsider your voteEdit

Please reconsider your vote re Simple English Wikiquote. See my user page, for example, for a discussion of the aim of SE Wikiquote. Thanks. --Coppertwig 03:45, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Netoholic, will you please reconsider your vote on wikiquote simple english. The number of articles, thanks to me, is growing at a rapid rate.--Sir James Paul 00:00, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Library Card access to newspapers.comEdit

I applied for, and received approval, for access a couple of years ago. However, I've not been able to access the full archived newspapers. My account profile at states, "You're currently a Registered Guest. This free subscription gets you access to search newspapers but you will not be able to view the full page. Get a paid subscription for access." — is that the way it's supposed to be? JGHowes talk - 23:49, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

@JGHowes: - Hi. The upgrades at are given in 1 year increments. If you want to renew your full access, visit "My Library", click "My applications" and click the "Request renewal" button next to your previous application. We should hear back in about a week on the upgrade. In the meantime, if you need specific articles clipped for you, you can ask for them at en:WP:REREQ. -- Netoholic @ 01:41, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi Netoholic, it appears my yearly subscription has ended, but there's no "Request renewal" button at my "library". It only has a "Go to site" button. What am I doing wrong? thanks! 78.26 (talk) 00:11, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Heya 78.26. Head to , click "My Library", and then "My applications". You'll see that "Request renewal" next to your prior request on that "My applications" page. -- Netoholic @ 09:05, 23 September 2020 (UTC) ApplicationEdit

Hello, it says in the Wikipedia Library that my application for has been accepted, but when I go onto, it still asks me to subscribe to Isn't the point of the application that I would be able to use for editing Wikipedia articles without having to pay for the Is there something I am missing? Please, help me. Lazman321 (talk) 04:05, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

@Lazman321: Sorry for the confusion. The status change of your application is "Sent to Partner" which means we've sent your account info to them and are waiting for them to implement the upgrade. You can keep checking back on the site, or wait for a message on your application when we've received back confirmation of your upgrade. -- Netoholic @ 07:11, 18 November 2020 (UTC) question/comment about renewalEdit

Hello -- I was using my Wikipedia login to last night and today it looks like it's no longer active. I figure it may have expired (checking my email confirms this). I added myself to the waitlist after trying to figure out how to request a renewal. I also, after seeing this page, went through the process you described above and requested a renewal. Just wanted to leave you a note in case that somehow duplicates my requests. Thanks very much for your time. Jessamyn (talk) 22:23, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
