Mobile Survey Translation

edit

Hi Mani,

I see there's one problem you haven't fixed yet with the original text. In Section IV, the first questions:

C1. Where do you access Wikipedia on your mobile phone?

has an option that reads:

  • On my mobile phone

That doesn't make sense. I think it should be removed.

I added a new comment on the survey. Thanks, --MarianoC 12:03, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I read through your blog postings yesterday, and you might like to correct an error. On 15 July, you reported ~1% of users as "transsexual and transvestite". The question actually asked whether users were "transsexual or transgendered".

Transvestite only means that the person likes to wear clothing that belongs to the other gender, like a man who likes to wear women's dresses. Transgender is a gender identity, like a person who doesn't feel like either a man or a woman, or feels like both simultaneously. WhatamIdoing 16:59, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the catch, you are absolutely right :) Manipande 17:00, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
