Hi, you left a message on my talk page in nl.wikipedia. I'll make sure that in the next 48 hours there will be "Wikimedia Incubator" and equally sized versions of the logo's available. Thanks for reminding me. NielsF 00:07, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you very much! Daniel () Check out Wikiscope! 10:31, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Done, see the voting page. NielsF 14:00, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi, in response to your question on nl:User talk:NielsF: uploaded a PNG version (Image:Incubator logo.png), but as I'm not sure whether this logo will be approved by the foundation (see the comment by notafish in Wikimedia_Incubator/logo#Modified_Wikimedia_logo), I haven't uploaded it to Incubator or Commons. Furthermore, don't I have to officially transfer copyright and/or usage rights to the foundation? If this all is not necessary, please do as you see fit, I'm just completely new to any such procedure. NielsF 11:48, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
I've sent an email to the Foundation-l mailing list, asking what the process is. I'm sure that the logo will be accepted, as it is a new enough take on the Meta logo not to be considered distortion. I'll let you know what they say. Daniel () Check out Wikiscope! 13:54, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
I've uploaded the png no text to Commons under the file name you suggested Image:Incubator-notext.png. I couldn't be bothered with categorization etc. at the moment, (it's quite late here) so could you do that? If you can't I'll look into it tommorow night. The logo does look quite nice on Incubator, glad to have been involved in it's creation. NielsF 02:54, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks so much. I've put it onto the page at commons for Incubator. I'll see about categorisation later. Now that it's in that format I should be able to make the 16x16 .ico version (for the favicon) myself, unless you want to do it. It looks brilliant up there in Incubator. Thanks. The domain mame for the Zazaki WikipediaEdit

Hi, I see your comment on the Zazaki Wikipedia Request page regarding to domain name. I understand why you oppose to ethnologue's "zzz" code. However, the Zazaki Language is not a standard language. It consist of three different dialects. However, sil.org shows two main dialects with "diq" for Dimliki and "kiu" for Kirmanjiki. The "diq" or Dimli describes only one main dialect and excludes others. For that reason, we want to use a code which will include other dialects too. If we use "diq.wikipedia.org", we exclude possible contributors from other Zazaki dialects. This would be a big problem for the Zazaki Wikipedia since we need to bring more editors to make this project successful. Can you help us to solve the problem regarding to domain name? --Maviulke12 04:19, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

/IncubatorEdit

Hello Daniel. Your Incubator's subpage it's included in some pages. In this case, i think the correct it's the use of subst: Can I? --Slade 00:15, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Please don't; one of the purposes of transluding it is to make an automatic list (via "What links here" of the pages which will need changing in the future. Thanks! Daniel () Check out Wikiscope! 19:40, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Good point. Maybe a category? --Slade 19:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Is it really widespread enough to warrant a category? I used the current method because it seemed a nice combination between needing a list of the pages and needing the text on the pages themselves. But if you think a category would be better then I don't mind. Daniel () Check out Wikiscope! 21:03, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
and now? --Slade 17:42, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
If you want to do this, then subst: all the places where the template is currently being used, feel free. I don't think it offers a large advantage, but it doesn't bother me. Daniel () Check out Wikiscope! 21:55, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

No, just correct the category (if necessary) and create it. Cheers, Slade 12:07, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
