I love the idea using a database to drive the look and feel, but being new to MediaWiki, php and the entire wiki arena, I don't know how to implement this. Any instructions would be appreciated.

Username magic word extension

Hey there,

the username extension looks handy!
What version of MW have you tested it on though? Any idea if it'll work on v 1.5.6?

I want to use it to put custom greetings on my main page (i.e. Hi {{USERNAME}}!)

DB driven wiki look-and-feel

After looking at the web site at indifference.dyndns.org/savage/index.php/Main_Page, I want it!
I am missing something in the implementation. I have created the MediaWiki:pages but selecting the skin gives me blank pages.
