Vera Krick (WMDE)
About me
I live in Berlin, Germany, where I studied psychology and have been working in the non-profit sector for several years. Before joining Wikimedia in 2018 as co-team leader of the Community Engagement team, I worked as a project manager in adult education, as a trainer for soft skills and as a consultant for learning and change processes. This user account is exclusively for edits in my role as a Wikimedia employee.
My work
As heads of Community Engagement, my colleague Verena and I work closely together with the Wikimedia communities. While Verena’s subteam works on gaining new community members, my subteam and I support Wikimedia volunteers with grants, project consulting and local workspaces. I am very enthusiastic about working for the vibrant Wikimedia movement and I enjoy in particular promoting collaboration and negotiation processes and reconciling the different interests involved.
