Stefano Schiazza
Biography
editI was born on April 18th 1989 in Naples, where I lived my childhood, before moving to San Giorgio a Cremano, a small town on the mountainside of the Vesuvius.
From 2004 to 2007, I attended the Nunziatella military academy, a prestigious high school in Naples, where I lived within a hierarchic structure since the age of fifteen, getting used to working in a team.
I obtained a BSc in Management Engineering at University of Naples Federico II in 2011 and then I moved to Milan in order to pursue the MSc in Industrial engineering at Politecnico di Milano.
Further to my two native languages, Italian and Neapolitan, I fluently speak English and some French.
Although I apply an engineering method in about everything I do, this does not prevent me for being fond of philosophy and history first of all and I would rather say, that these are my true passion since the earliest years. I do believe that highest knowledge cannot prescind from the sense of legacy between past and present generations that the study of history guarantees.
This great passion for history and philosophical reasoning, goes along with a pure love for my mother city.
My committment to help a future renewal of Naples is shown by my involvement in the Local Team that organized the candidacy of Naples as host city for Wikimania 2013.
