I am a 4th year PhD student in the Media, Technology, and Society program at Northwestern University. You can find my website here.
My work
I study organization, governance, and collaboration in social computing systems. I am advised by Aaron Shaw. I'm especially interested in complexities arising in decentralized and polycentric modes of governance. e.g., how online groups variably develop, adapt, subvert rules + tools + platform affordances to govern themselves and the implications for platform-level regulatory effectiveness (this is the general topic of my dissertation work). Some of this is on Wikipedia!
